- methods of examination, diagnosis and orthopedic treatment of patients with pathology of hard tissues of teeth and defects of dentition with fixed structures of dentures;

- principles of diagnostics and orthopedic treatment of patients with defects of dentition with removable denture structures;

- methods of performing indirect restorations, crowns on the frontal and chewing group of teeth, pin structures, bridges, partial removable dentures, removable dentures for correcting the height of the lower face;

- methods of modeling crowns, bridges, partial removable prostheses;

- causes of complications in orthopedic practice and ways to prevent them.

Be able to:

- examine the patient, analyze the results of the examination, make a diagnosis, plan orthopedic treatment and conduct clinical stages of manufacturing various designs of fixed and removable dentures;

- methods of planning the orthopedic stage of complex treatment and rehabilitation of patients with pathology of hard tissues of teeth and dentition;

- to identify, eliminate and take measures to prevent complications when using fixed and removable dentures;

- to carry out the correction of dentures in the oral cavity;

- methods of carrying out dental orthopedic rehabilitation measures for patients with pathology of hard tissues of teeth and dentition.

Own:

- methods of clinical dental examination of patients with pathology of hard tissues of teeth and defects of dentition;

- interpretation of the results of basic and additional methods of dental examination of patients with pathology of hard tissues of teeth and dentition;

- registration of the necessary documentation for the orthopedic treatment of a patient with defects in the hard tissues of the teeth and dentition.
