This course is designed for independent work of students as part of the study of the discipline "Foreign language for special purposes " and can be used to cover missed classes and debts. The course is developed on the basis of the current work program on discipline, is based on authentic materials of professional orientation and its content includes the necessary topics for the formation of foreign-language professional communication competence of students, Students on specialty 30.05.01 Medical bioсhemistry. The thematic division of the course is not repetitive but complements the content of the RP; the additional teaching materials are directly correlated with the topics being studied.

It contains 6 main units: 

1. Epidemic disease occurrence;
2. HIV;
3. Environmental Medicine;
4. Air pollution-associated diseases;
5. Water pollution-associated diseases;
6. Noise pollution-associated diseases.

The course finishes with the credit.
